cancastinate 2 strings

I may be spelling cancastinate wrong, so I'll explain.

I asked a guy who works here *How* to add 2 strings into a single name.

his words were "Cancastinate the 2 strings together". His explanation didn't make too much sense, so I was hopeful someone here might be able to explain...
