Any good books?

I'm semi new to C++, and I'm not really getting the tutorials on the web. Are there any other tutorials out there that are really (REALLY) simple. Or are there any books, or any other reasources. I've heard people say that C++ for Dummies is very good, but I want to here from the masters. I have dial up (I live in rural Vermont) so I can't watch videos.

I've found Schaum's Outline of Programming with C++</a> very informative for picking up languages. I don't have their C++ book, but their standard for everything is generally very good.

This is the classic MS tutorial set (HTML or PDF download):

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/beginner/cc305129.aspx

It's somewhat similar to the cplusplus.com tutorial but it's broken down more and a bit slower paced.

I use C++ Primer and it is a very good book. Bought it for $30 online!
