Using events in other program as input
Hello, this is my first time here.
I am just wondering what would be a technique for using events in other program as an input in my program. Let's say if I have a driving simulator game, and I want to write program that drive the car by it self for that game. How would I detect let's say a red/green light from the game to use in my program. What are some techniques I can use?
