I want to make something like a chat bot, one that learns from user input, becoming smarter overtime(possibly stupider, depending on the user.)

Ive been reading some articles on generation5( http://www.generation5.org/articles.asp )
However they dont have incredibly much resources, also, no forum.

Id like to learn alot about artificial intelligence, maybe get my hands on a version of a simple chat bot that learns from users.

So, do you dudes have any information on AI(chat bot AI, it doesnt have to play games), useful links, etc?

So far there is no such an AI bot except for all kinds
of shufflers that sort-resort until a chain pops up.
It will never be neither smart nor stupid just
with collecting sentences from any kind of user.
Rather a bag of crisscrossed remainings of the sense
making humans to understand its boolsheet and eventually
to beleive it thinks because of reproducting The Amazing.
