i must be missing some thing, (Eclipse)

I have Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Developers no plugins just got it and i can't seem to be able to type commands there no sub-window open for C++

I am new to C++ as well so slow go on the Ling-O

I know i must be missing something vary basic please point it out to me

You have to open the C++ perspective, then create a new C++ managed make project. Then create a new source file in your project (call it something like main.cpp) and start adding your code.
