Client-server for n00bs

Hi!

Does anyone know of good resources, be it websites, books or whatever, about client-server programming? I'm completely new to this, so I'm looking for very basic material. Thanks;)
Classics:

1. Internetworking With TCP/IP Volume III: Client-Server Programming and Applications by D Comer and D Stevens. There's a BSD/Linux and Windows version, but they're all pretty much the same.

2. Richard Stevens' stuff http://www.kohala.com/start/
See Google about distributed systems.
Thanks! That's exactly what I'm looking for;)
