Refressing in console

I am coming to C++ from Basic, so i was wondering if i could do some of the same features. Main doing something like CLS (clears the console screen), and refreshing a pacific part in the console window (not sure if you can do that in Basic). What i mean by this is show have a percent that slowly goes up without it moving from its position.
