Does it have to be C++ ?
If you are a total beginner consider learning Java or Python, which are much easier

if you are self-taught then c++ is going to be a problem. I have to agree with Thomas1965, but if you really need c++ then I advise getting a book. c++ for dummies might be the way to go for now. then you can move on to more complicated features as you grasp the basics.
