Vector iterators and classes

I am wanting to create a data base of Egyptian gods that allows you to write a paragraph then store it to a txt or data file then be able to search for and edit the paragraph. the criteria for this program requires that it has a search input function,vectors of classes, displays elements of the vector either print info are display error and it also must contain at least one function that uses an iterator. Can anyone point me in the direction on how to get started on this.
