Assistance Needed In General

My name is Olivia and I am in the second part of my C++ course at college. I am either not good at programming at all, or my professor hasn't explained things well enough, because it's been a month and I'm struggling so badly. It certainly doesn't help that I have a learning disability. I know I need to learn how to do these things, but without somebody's help I won't know how.

Any suggestions for how I can learn better? Or, counteridea, would anybody be willing to assist me with programs every so often? Not to complete them, just to talk through them so I can understand them better.
Ask your advisor to help you find a mentor or a fellow student.
Of course you can ask questions here, but we never know if the answer is over your head or not, and there is never only a single way to program anything depending on your instructions and your level of experience. So the answer you get online may be correct but may not be the best in explaining the how and why.
In other words, the answer you get online is often based on how good you word the question.
