Best language for Telecommunications engineering

i'm studying Telecommunications engineering (Electronic & telecom )
please, can you help me to choose the best language that help me in my study
( i was learning # by myself but some people tell me that it's not good for my study like C++ & matlab and some other language )
so please
give me some advices

I've been in telecom almost my entire career and have used C and C++ almost exclusively for work.

If you plan to do only new projects, you might be able to get away with just C++. If you plan to get involved with an established project that's been around for a few decades, the code base will probably be in C, so that's what you will end up needing to know.

Taking a step back, languages are languages. You should concentrate of becoming a good programmer. Learn a few languages - seeing the differences will help you to understand them better. Find a field that interests you. Learn whatever language the job requires.
