How to convert .pgm to jpeg

I have a file called image.zip of 1000 images. I want to connvert all of them to .jpeg.

Is there any code to do it?

Do you just need to convert these images, or do you need to write a program that does it? Some image utilities, such as ImageMagick or IrfanView, can do batch processing.
