I agree with Bazzy that it's a sh*tty IDE, but it can still get the job done just fine. As long as you coded and linked everything correctly, you should be able to run your application.

Dev-Cpp is not only a sh*tty IDE but it also comes with a cr*ppy compiler so even proper code may not work
Use wxdev instead. It's newer than dev itself which was discontinued a while ago. The article Bazzy pointed you to (programming pun?) is an excellent discussion about IDE choices.
i got one called code:blocks it seems to work pretty good,my program will run on that but not on dev or wxdev
