please provide references to other websites
any help is appreciated
plese provide as much links you can
thanks.
Turbo C++ 3.0 is from 1991. You should use a newer compiler.
Gotta admit you are right but i am creating reference materials for colleges, where supposedly
all the programming is done in Turbo c 3.0

I do have some knowledge in programming in Visual Studio and have complete reference material for that

But my main purpose here is to have the college students get familiar with different uses of c++
instead of all the programming in text mode or menu driven programs
we can even use the same language for gui driven programs

Thanks any way !
I really don't know what kind of code you're going to find that that compiler will be able to understand. Who even knows if modern computers can run 16-bit graphics code.
yes that may be the case but you know .... i really am stupid just a few days ago i found out how ridiculous my idea was, anyway i'm not gonna close this discussion for i'm gonna write the book for c++ graphics on visual studio ultimate 2013.

i would really appreciate it if you can now help me with references you know like winprog.Org
I don't know whether this would help, but if you'd install Turbo, and ([i]usually[i]) right click, you'll get a help menu. This has a really well formatted help page, with examples for all (almost?) graphics-related code. (ie provided your using initgraph() )
well thanks have already tried that
And?
Nothing much closing this stupid thread sorry for wasting all of your precious time but i don't have time either cause i' m already under working of a game development tutorials
