3D mesh surface

I am trying to draw a 3D mesh surface on a GDI canvas. I have found some sample code written in Delphi but I can not convert it to C++. Is there any sample C++ code for drawing a 3D mesh surface? Maybe you can recommend a book with a CD? Is there any code for sale? Any help is appreciated.
