Implement memory allocation functions malloc and free

I'm new to C++ and have no history of studying it in school. I'm doing my graduation in CS and have been given a project that titles the same as above. As far as my research could go, I've got to know that it is a C related topic that has to be implemented in C++. I'll have to make a static memory on my own using classes to proceed further. I don't know how to start or approach. Please help me ASAP! Codes accompanied would be appreciated! 😔
