downloading .csv files using c++

hey all,

im a college student doing some noobie research. and basically it involves a program that can download files from the internet (like given the url of the file) then read the said file. i tried searching EVERYWHERE for help but i couldnt find any. do you think anyone could help me with some simple code (or as simple as possible) or link me in the right direction? oh and like in the title i have to download .csv files, if that makes a difference

one of my friends even told me to learn java and im so desperate that i might T_T
