Starting/Stopping exe's

does any1 know how i can quit an exe from running and then restart it from a C++ program

using borland 2006 c++

The point is privs, that you most likely didn't do your homework before you posted. Try over at the Microsoft Developers Network. In order to interact with the executable, you probably need to interact with the Operating System (in this case Windows) to execute and kill the process. There should be a function somewhere in the WinAPI that includes this ability.
