Which compiler?

I already have visual studio C++, there in a problem however. When I send a .exe to anyone else, it gives them an error. I don't know how to prevent this, some have told me it is due to dependencies, but if so, when I looked in the properties there were none listed. So I have a question. Should I get Code::Blocks, Dev (Bloodshed thingy) or something else? I want it to be really easy to use (like visual studio) but with the ablity to make a .exe or an application that others can use.

PS: If anyone knows a way to solve the issue with Visual Studio I wouldn't need to re-download anything else and it would be alot easier.
Whatever you get, do not go for Bloodshed. It has been abandoned and is years out of date.

The latest Dev c++ is the Orwell version.

K, I guess I'll give code blocks a chance. I hope it's about as good as visual studio.
