Changing memory stored in another application - Mac

I'm wondering how to make an application for BloonsTD5 that will allow me to change the memory address of how much $ I have. I know how the CheatEngine for Mac is iHaxGamez... but I want to program my own.
How would I access the memory address from Safari, then change it to my inputed(cin) value?
I'm not asking for an entire script to be made for me, just how I would change the value of a piece of memory.
