If you are just starting C++ then I preffer Dev C++. Search It In Google.
make sure it is the Dev C++ Resource Site!
please tell me how you like Dev C++!
also its different than Visual C++ or any other thing cuase Dev C++ way simpler.

Dev C++ is no longer supported. Plus the debug interface was not finished.
I recommend netBeans from Sun. You'll have to install cygwin though if you run Windows.
