I am on pg 70. Already they have stopped giving source code and there is not answer key. Seems like i am reading tons of definitions with out applying them to anything. Should i drop this book and pick up on another on?? Any ideas where to find the answers? I just hope i am not wasting my time. Already tried sams c++, might go back to that

I'd start with the Primer Plus books. They seem more for beginners than the Primer books are. Even though the Plus name might infer an extension of the Primer books (and it might be for all I know), they are definitely easier to read, in my opinion.

I wouldn't recommend Primer Plus. It got a bad review at accu.org for teaching bad habits.
