I got my physical copy from a book store. It is really a great book, you will not regret it.

I have found in the past that several books are needed - what is not made clear in one is put in a slightly different way in another and is (sometimes!) therefore blindingly clear...

I have C++ Demystified - Jeff Kent, C++ in easy steps - Mike McGrath and Standard C++ Bible - Al Stevens & Clayton Walnum.

But I suggest your best bet would be to go down (if possible) to the local library and check what they have. If you find one that really suits you then you can try and buy it...
