I am currently learning the basics of C++. I have had problems with my eye sight through all my years which can not yet be treated and it reduces my vision quite much. In the future there is a risk that I will probably lose my ability to read, or it will be too hard to do it for longer sessions.
Since I have read some articles about blind programmers and about different softwares that they use, I am also interested in how they may have learnt their languages without being able to read.
Are there any books for learning C++ by listening, that is made for blind programmers (for programmers like me who only have a reduced vision) who want/need to learn C++? Or do those join courses for blind programmers?
I don't know any c++ courses for the blind but I could suggest that doing eye-exercises could slow down and stop the process of being blinded. This for example could help: http://www.wikihow.com/Exercise-Your-Eyes
