Best books for Beginners

Im new to the forum and have previously done JAVA but am learning C++ now, which books are the most beneficial?

However if you want to know more about some parts of C++ you could start with
Beginning C++ Through Game Programming by Michael Dawson
and then go on with
C++ Without Fear by Brian Overland
and that should cover the basics really well

I'm in a similar position to you Cplusnovice. I've been using C++ for Java Programmers and it has been an easy transition so far for me.
