Hi! I'm new.

Hi guys,

I'm fairly new to C++, I know some of the basics from learning to make games, mostly using a drag n drop program but putting as much code into it as I could.

I started a home study course in games development but after a few month I was made redundant and couldn't keep up with the payments, they stopped marking my work just as I was about to start learning C++ properly.

Is there anybody here that works with games? maybe running small projects I could get involved with? I decided I should get back into this and try my best to land a job in the industry, even if it means doing it myself.

There are a few people here that work on games, you might have better luck in the General Programming forum, or if you know a specific API, go to that forum as well. Also, if you use a certain set of libraries, be sure to include that in the subject field so other's learning the same libraries or that have experience in them will more likely read them.
