Just wanted to comment on the paradox in the thread about counting characters.
Ironically, My post and fafners posts were so close in time, that they had to be posted in different parallel thread realities.
Posting another reply causes the thread to merge back into one, and then deleting that post divides it back into two. Interesting.
Ironically C -- is probably a valid language in some parallel physical universe; one where c++ came first but was only called c, and c -- became c without classes.

That's assuming you believe there are parallel universes. I have yet to hear any [good] reason why that concept should be taken seriously.

Two people posted in a thread at exactly the same time. The result was that the thread split into two otherwise identical threads, with different posting orders. This remained the case until a new post to that thread was submitted; causing the thread to merge back as one. Some kind of bug c++ forum bug?
