understandig the text of a problem

I just started using Project Euler and I'm at the second problem. The trouble is I'm not that good at English and I can't exactly tell what the problem wants me to do.

Here is the text:

Each new term in the Fibonacci sequence is generated by adding the previous two terms. By starting with 1 and 2, the first 10 terms will be:

1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, ...

By considering the terms in the Fibonacci sequence whose values do not exceed four million, find the sum of the even-valued terms.

I underlined the part I can't fully understand. Please explain it in another way if you can, but don't give me any solutions or any help in solving it.
To narrow it down, the sum of even-valued terms, that's the essential part.
sum up the values divisible by 2 wich are in the Fibonacci sequence

so sum 2 , 8 , 34 ... etc.
In simple:
-Find all Fibonacci numbers <= 4.000.000 (four million)
-Sum the even (can be perfectly divided by 2) terms

The sum can (and will) exceed four million, but individual elements can't.
