Just finished with a book, where's a good place to go?

I was recommended "Beginning C++ through game programming, 3rd edition" to start learning C++. I just finished that book, and I'm a bit lost as to where to go now. I wanted to get into some 2D game programming, and maybe move to 3D in a while. But for now, I have no idea what to try. While the book did introduce some important topics about game programming, it didn't go into graphics at all, and all the libraries that I've looked at seem to complex. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should try?

Thanks.
There wasn't anything about graphics in the book? Some game programming book that is...
anyway, there's nothing particularly complex about SFML. Just go through their tutorials.
