I need to get a website back up & running

Hello, a few years ago (about 7 or so) I developed a concept for a website but I had (& still do not have) little to no knowledge on web design... specifically source code. Well I attempted to have the site built by an individual who claimed to have extensive programming & web design knowledge. However, this individual abandoned the project after completing 60% of the project. The site was up & running, but not fully functional. About 5 years ago, a script error surfaced within the code & left the site crippled... if u tried to type in the url (www.Barbercosmoconnect.com) you would only get a blank screen with an error message... now I am trying to fix this scripting error w/o the webmaster. He left me with the usernames & passwords for the webhosting etc. & I also have a copy of the source code on notepad... I believe that it's css though. Can someone give me advice or help? I recently renewed the hosting, but I don't know how or where to copy & paste the source code (after I fix the script error)... I will paste the source code on this topic (if needed)

I get a page with an image of a hawaiian shirt hanging in an open, double-bifold door closet, saying "Future home of something quite cool", and boxes at the bottom to log in if I were you and to come back some day if I am not.
I know what comes up @ the moment Duoas... I need to find out how I insert the code from the previous webmaster into the hosting situation (once I repair the script error)... i am totally lost when it comes to this & the webhosting co. won't give me any pointers... I am no webmaster, so what do I do? If u wish, I can send a copy of the code for examination... It is too long to put on the board...

I'm not sure I'm really the right guy for it. (My knowledge of server-side scripting is rather sparse.)

Have you tried over at DaniWeb?
