You open the source code where? You IDE, notepad?

This seems like an application specific issue.
- What IDE are you using?
- Does this occur with every project you try to open your source code on?
- Can you open your source code with another application like a text editor?

It's free and although is supported by a different group they feel like exactly the same IDE. In fact I'll bet you won't even notice a difference.
