How can systems for saving documents be created? (with respect to things like game saves, document saves... etc.)
I mean this with regards to custom file saves (or something along those sides which is said to be in binary form) and not the simple alternative of using a notepad file using the "fstream" stuff. The only time I remember seeing something along those sides was from my lecture who had an example, which he didn't quite teach us I was a right c++ newbie at the time. But at the same time I got the gist that the principle worked since as that example wasn't based on the notepad fstream process.
Any help to where I can learn custom file saves? (at least the one for windows systems)
