How to draw a rectangle/square & put text inside it ?

Hi everyone ;

I need some input regarding how to put text in a rectangle/square made of '-' and other ASCII chars for the corners ? ;
I have no idea of how make a geometrical shape (rect / sqr) using ASCII chars also ;

Please note that this is a console program and i am using Borland Compiler ;

Any help would be gladly appreciated ! ;
