I am trying to program a 2D/3D game engine

I´m from sweden. can be wrong speld a little.

I am using C++

what I need is a good and powerful game engine.
And all I want is tips not a howle engine.
because I want to program the engine myself.
so I can learn more about the language C++

here is some things I ned for the engine.
the engine need to be able to operate these files and functions.

files:

COLLADA File (3D File)

somting.TXT (Text dockument)

Some sort of sound file

somting.PNG/BMP/JPEG/GIF (2D file/texture)

Somtig more. I can´t think of enifing more.

functions:

What ever I can need. (do not really know what I need)

Support for a camera. not real camera. (You may want to have a camera in a game
(otherwise you can not see much of what happens in the game))

Some way to play through the Internet. can be good to have.

Som way to use the engine for som sort of online game.

I may be a beginner but I understand pretty quickly.
so you do not need to send me some messages that I may not understand.
I have worked with a bunch of different programming languages anything
from machine coding and basic-stamp and a few other programming
languages. so I'm not new to programming.

I am not trying to brag here.
I just need help

I am creating a 3D game that I have made models to the game in google ketchup saved in Collada coding. but I need an engine that fits the game.

you cant create an engine if you dont even know what it needs to be able to do. i suggest this book for you it will help you understand what to expect better and what is required.
