Bluetooth support is a combination of OS and drivers, so you need to find the right combination and API for your specific case, as it will vary from device to device.
Thanks. So are you saying this would be possible to reprogram the headset? Would it be easier to make my own unit?. I basically only need a speaker, battery, port to charge battery via cable, and the microchip
Do you have a suggestion of what forum/books I can research regarding this. Also, do you have any sites to buy the microchip that would need to be programmed. (if its even called a microchip)
Im really lost. My extent of knowledge was a pascal class in hs 10 yrs ago.
Well from your question I thought you were talking about programming your own headset, in which case you would need to learn an API for doing such a task. I know almost nothing on the subject, but I'd recommend learning about socket programming to start. This doesn't sound like a very easy task, however. It would help if I knew what type of phone you were intending on developing the headset for.
I would go the easier route. I thougt I could program the chip like people do for homemade robots. Whether reprogramming a headset or building a new one from scratch.
