Is this book good?

I have little to none coding experience. From what I've read Programming: Principles and Practice Using C++ ( http://www.borders.com/online/store/TitleDetail?sku=0321543726 ) is the best book to pick up.

I want to get into video games creation, so as I was browsing I came across Beginning C++ Through Game Programming ( http://www.borders.com/online/store/TitleDetail?sku=1435457420 ). Is this a good book? Is there a better one that teaches the same concept? Should I go with Programming: Principles and Practice Using C++?

Your help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

If I were you, I would go to a bookstore/library and start reading one of them before buying. The advantage of doing that is if your intuiton is telling you that the author's style doesn't fit you, you can easily pick a new book right there.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of Programming: Principles and Practice Using C++ from what I read (which wasn't a lot I will admit).
