Just so you know, incorporating system( ) into a program marks it as platform dependent.

I don't believe there's any way to make changing the console colors platform independent, so that's not really an issue. xD There's a way to do it without system(), and it's relatively simple for text and cell color, but to change the background color without covering over already existing text would involve some more work.
