Mental Help!

*facepalm*, *head pop*, *cry*, use whatever you want to describe my frustration. Just saw (sad, right?) the forum thread about how consoles are bad for games and all that >_< I knew this already, but I didn't know the tiddly bit about how you can't cross over to making games a bit easier by knowing the console crap.

So... I'm basically starting over? >_<

Can someone point me in the right direction, and use 4th grade English because I'm slow.

Step 2)

Install it at get is set up (read: hardest step for most people)
There are walkthroughs on the SFML site

Step 3)

Try to compile and run one of the SFML sample programs.

Step 4)

Read the SFML tutorials

Step 5)

Start making games.
