first takes 15 sec.
second takes 10 sec.
third takes 5 sec.
each of these take 5sec. to go another

Are you familiar with the ctime header? Or are you planning on using a different lib?

We will not write the program for you. Post the code you have already written and we'll help you figure out what's wrong. I swear... before anything is posted, a big flashing marquee should remind users that we are not here to do their homework for them...

1. We kinda don't like being abused. Sorry. This is cplusplus.com, not bondagedisciplinedominancesubmissionsadismmasochism.com or 4chan.org. :/
2. Most "tutoring" members (like myself, packetpirate, and Computergeek01) will refuse to give out "codes" that solve a problem. At best, you'll get a step-by-step solution in English, more likely you'll get hints. ;)
I think Computergeek01'shint pointed question was relevant, actually.

As Albatross said above, don't expect help from people after calling them stupid. We're not the stupid ones here. You're the one asking us to do your homework for you. And even if it wasn't homework, you wouldn't learn anything by having us do it for you. So show us some code or go somewhere else.
am I the only one who has no idea what this guy is asking for? How can a variable take 15 seconds? That makes no sense.
I think what he wants are variables to hold times. I'm not sure why, though...
