free Microsoft developer software for students

microsoft has a program they call dreamspark where they give developer software to students for free. So you could get visual studio 2010 for free. check it out here: https://www.dreamspark.com/default.aspx

I just thought that more people needed to know about this.

Hm, I suppose. Though you could also mention that the license is very limited.
But it is still free software.
That wasn't criticism, I just wanted to say it's worth mentioning. I mean, if you already tell them, why not give them all the info at once so they don't have to assemble it all by themselves?
What do you mean by "the licence is very limited"?
I haven't done much site-digging, but something tells me that you're permitted to use products obtained for free through DreamSpark only for academic purposes.

I prefer the political free over the economic free any day...
