Creating a windo

Hey! How do i create a window? im getting tired of these console applications....lol. I know in lua, its only about 6 or 7 simple lines.

In C++ it's platform dependent. NEED MOAR DEEE-TAIL!

And probably not in 6 or 7 lines. Well, maybe with Qt or something, I don't know much about the higher level window libs.
