functions ,formulas !! :/

hi,

currently I study Introduction to computer science ,
the lecturer is letting us to solve the programming problems by ourselves with- out teaching ,and I had no idea how to start writing the formulas.last time i spent 2 hours only to figure out one problem :' so I'm so disappointed.

I want to know what is the best way to solve functions ,formulas problems ? :)

First, turn the computer OFF.

Get a sheet of paper and a pen; write out the problem as concisely as possible.

Then work out the solution to the problem with pen and paper.

The write out the steps that you took to solve the problem, you now have the basis to start writing the necessary code, turn on your computer.
