problem about division & modulus
i have a calculator programme but the division is not accurite.
for example 5/2=2
& modulus is 1
i need help to finish this programming.
please any one help me to be more accurite in this

Second: Please post what code you have, so that we can see what you are doing wrong and can help you correct it.
Third: It sounds like you're using ints. Integers don't hold decimal points. they do not round up, either. They simply lose anything beyond the decimal point. So five devided by two equals two with a remainder of one sounds correct.

Defending him I think he may either have a slow internet connection or just lagged a little bit and press the "Submit" button 4 times. I don't think he meant to do that.
You may want to cast your divisor or your dividend as a floating point like (float/double)dividend/divisor
