@Grey Wolf: It was either Snow Leapord or the iteration right before that one so a few years ago. I also didn't buy into that developers license or however they work that out either; I think I found it posted by someone online so it's possible that it was even older then that.

EDIT: At the time I'm writing this there is nothing posted below my comment. I have a strong suspicion because of the way that Grey Wolf posted that question that Mac developer documentation is different from the other OS's and I'm about to look like an idiot...

REEDIT: The OS version was just before the time that TigerDirect sued Mac because of the name they were about to release their new OS under.

That statement may require some revision.
I think one would prefer an ibm 16 core with gigs of ram as opposed to a pentium three desktop scant on resources =)
