SFML - linking the library

I've been wrestling with it for two hours now. Apparently I need to link the SFML library before I can run any program... so..............

How do I do that?

I've googled and haven't found anything.

I'm using Xcode on Mac OS X (10.5.8).

i have this problem too... except it's ubuntu 10.04 and gcc compiler that i'm using.

I remember sudo apt-get something about the SFML library... but it wasn't installing... Idk how to find it... where to put it... how to utilize it... etc
