Dev-C++ Debugger
I have no idea how to use it. Simple as that. I've asked a friend of mine that was a programmer (actually, my dad) and he had no clue either, claiming it was different than anything he'd ever used. Please, someone explain it to me.
Dev-C++, eh? If you're taking about Dev-C++ and not wxDev-C++, then see below.
I would like to suggest that you upgrade. Dev-C++ is old, and it's been years (centuries in computer years) since it's last been updated, which means among other things that the included compiler is way out of shape. Code::Blocks is another IDE that seems to be really popular, and I expect you'll get more support for it. ...and the debugger front-end is a bit less unique. :)
If you decide to stick with Dev-C++, then I personally can't help much with the debugger issues, sorry. :(
