Is there a simple code I can add to our exercises in our programming class to impress my instructor? Just to be different from my classmates programs? Like, put a color on the text, or blinking text or whatever.
This is an important aspect of software development: you must do exactly as you're told. No more and no less.
If you want and it's possible, try making it more efficient or shorter, but don't add things that the assignment didn't ask for.
Normally I wouldn't agree with helios completely on this matter, however in this case I do agree. If you want to impress your instructor, try doing it in as few lines of code as possible. ;)
