Is Darkgdk a high or low level programming language

I know that c++ is a low level programming language, which essentially means that it is closely aligned with machine code which makes it run faster.

But does anyone know whether the VC++ programming add on DARK GDK can count as low level programming. I just a bit confused, if someone could post me a link with clear information I would appreciate it

C++ is not low level, DarkGDK is a library for C
