How do you print your output to a paper?

I searched this on the net but I could only find it for parallell printers i've got a USB one...
Anybody knows how to do this?

That's an OS-specific question.

It also depends on the kind of output you want to generate and the kind of printer you have. For example, a laser printer is not designed for the same kind of output as a line printer.
