installing eclipse
I am working on windows 7. I have downloaded eclipse for c++.
I have JDK installed in my laptop. I have read to make the IDE work for
c++. You have to download extra applications like cygwin,mygwin,gcc.I have also
downloaded them. but now i dont know what to do next.I have already set path in the
path variables.but it seems that the problem lies here. running gcc command outside its
directory is giving error as command not found.please help me with some suggestions

Eclipse is my first IDE , and at the same time my first and only not working one.
I don't know if I made some mistakes or forgot to set something but I decided to switch to code::blocks. I'm not sure enough but I think eclipse dont include compilers like gcc, as what you have stated.
On the other hand, code blocks include a compiler (I think its name is mygwin) and you don't have to configure several things in the settings as it does automatically for you.
